THE FEARLESS INITIATIVE

While people think about many things when hearing the word Fearless -- for me, a cancer survivor-- it’s living my life without fear. FEARLESS is trusting that the right decisions are the decisions that I make for myself. These choices  allow me to live my life with faith… not fear.

Whether it’s a new beginning or the beginning of the end…I choose!

The Beyond Pink Foundation’s Fearless Initiative works in hand-in-hand with one’s intentions to help others.

How it works:
Do you know someone who was just diagnosed with cancer and needs inspiration?
Do you want to offer support to a family member or caregiver who is going through treatment with a loved one?
Do you want to offer support to someone waiting on a test result?
Do you want to celebrate one’s  survival year?
Do you simply want to celebrate a good test result?
Do you just want to acknowledge someone for their strength?
Would you like to do these things anonymously?

Send them a mailed FEARLESS Card. A FEARLESS card is free to you and paid for by the Beyond Pink Foundation.

Each FEARLESS Card is handwritten and personalized to the individual receiving it. Offer support and inspiration to those you care about the most.
The FEARLESS Card can be acknowledged or sent anonymously. This would be a random act of kindness from you with the help of the Beyond Pink Foundation

It’s easy. Simply click on the logo below to send us an email with the name and address of the person to which you wish to send the card.
Include their name and address (required for mailing purposes).
Optionally add comments and thoughts so that Beyond Pink may personalize the card.
Include your name and relationship if you would like to be acknowledged to your loved one.
If anonymity is desired… leave out your name.

We’ll take care of the rest. Your friend or loved one will receive through the US  mail a Beyond Pink Foundation FEARLESS card to inspire and brighten their day.

It’s as easy as that!

Intellectualizing Your Decisions!

Intellectualize decisions about treatment that will impact the rest of your life!

Educating yourself and giving yourself time to explore your feelings about the "what-if's" will lead to better decisions should a diagnosis of breast cancer occur.

Awareness with Attitude!

You are the only one who lives with you 24 hours a day. You know what you can live with ... and without ...
You have something that is unique to you ... and only you ... and that is ... your background, your experience, your life ... your perspective.
It takes courage to believe that what and how you feel is important.
We offer support to women and their caregivers so that they can access the vast resources available for them - not only through treatment - but well into survivorship.
We would like to introduce you into a new era. Although our website is dedicated to the awareness and empowerment of breast cancer survivorship, we are going to share with you some powerful stories of everyday people who are practicing CANCER survivorship daily.
We care and address your worries, fears, and emotions from your initial diagnosis through to your survivorship. We want to empower you to move forward and live your life to it’s fullness with knowledge and support.

But, now we feel obliged to share some of the stories of other cancer survivors who have to face the same fears, worries, and emotions that we breast cancer survivors have.

We want to give you a portrait of what their journey was like from the first step of diagnosis and through to survivorship. We survivors have to follow a path quite similar to each other.

After all the bottom line is that CANCER is CANCER! From that scary day that we hear that “C” word, we have to show strength and courage to carry on and move forward in our lives. This is not only for ourselves but for the good of our families and friends…and eventually for any and all future people whom we come into contact with. We must take control of our health and our future for exactly those reasons. How do you live with survivorship and life today? Are you a better person? Do you now stop everyday to “smell the coffee” or “smell the roses?”

So…having said all of that, we are going to do a feature story of cancer survivors who have overcome and been empowered to take the lead in their own lives and follow through with living a happy and better life for themselves and for their family and friends.
Our first feature story will showcase a young woman who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It is an emotional and overwhelming story and we will present it segments as it was told to us.

The focus of our 2nd feature imparts the story of a gentleman diagnosed with breast cancer. Yes...men can be breast cancer survivors also!!! YOU WILL FIND THESE STORIES ON OUR "THRIVIN' N SURVIVIN'" PAGE!!!
